As a leading private label and control label personal care manufacturer in North America, Apollo manufactures products for major retailers in addition to contract manufacturing for many reputable national brand companies and marketing houses.
Established in 1991, Apollo is located in a state-of-the-art facility in the City of Toronto and currently employs approximately 500 people. Richard has governed Apollo’s exponential growth as North America's dominant innovative and creative personal care manufacturer, championing oversight of the design, build and relocation of Apollo Health and Beauty Care to its new LEED Silver Certified state of the art manufacturing facility in the City of Toronto. Apollo’s market leadership has earned the Company Platinum Award status with 12 consecutive years acknowledgment as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
Richard is actively involved in stewarding and supporting health care and primary care efforts in the Canadian health care industry and is further invested in same through his charitable endeavors. He has been a strong supporter of local and international health services organizations, is the Board Champion for Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Program at Toronto General and Western Hospitals, manages University Health Network’s Business Leadership Campaign and is a member of Partners for Discovery in benefit of University Health Network..

Richard holds a BA degree in Economics and a MBA degree in Finance from York University.
